My adventures with the 2012-2013 CBYX Young Professionals Program
I finally chose my backpack for my time in Germany! For this I considered it to be an investment and something I would be able to use for my travels over the next few years so I decided to splurge a little on this Item.

It’s the Metrosafe GII Antitheft Day pack from Pacsafe. It’s rather unassuming but it comes with a number of different features to deter pickpockets and snatchers. It has a slashproof exterior and straps so someone can’t cut through your bag, lock straps for securing it to fixtures, lockable zippers, as well as a RFID blocking pocket for your lap top. Honestly I’m not too worried about these things in Germany or the cities I’ll hopefully be traveling to outside of Deutschland but better safe then sorry especially when it comes to something like your passport or laptop. Plus it will be wonderful to use in case I need to travel to a place with a higher rate of theft in the future.
